What contract type are you on?

IGWC represents graduate workers on SAA contracts and graduate workers working hourly, but all graduate workers gain from better benefits and working conditions. Fellowship amounts are often tied to SAA pay.

SAA: You work as a Student Academic Appointee (SAA) for IU and are paid by IU for your work.

Fellowship: You are on a fellowship.

Hourly: You work as an hourly employee and are paid by IU for your work.

Not Employed by IU: You are a graduate student but you are not employed by the university.
