The Indiana Graduate Workers Coalition - United Electrical, Radio & Machine Workers of America (IGWC-UE) are proud to receive the endorsement of two union chapters at Indiana University.

The American Association of University Professors (AAUP) and the Communication Workers of America (CWA) have written the IU administration the following letter, expressing solidarity with our unionization campaign.

Their letter emphasizes three important points:

1. That Indiana University relies on the labor that we Graduate Workers provide through teaching, research, and mentorship.

2. That unionization upholds core academic values to which Indiana University has a stated commitment.

3. That our pathway toward unionization is legitimate, evidenced by three local union chapters that unionized under the same IU policy (HR-12-20) that we are using.
